Major life transitions can stir up old patterns from the past.
Something you’ve always struggled with, but have managed to avoid dealing with.
Or an old pattern you thought you had already dealt with, only to suddenly find yourself confronted with it once again.
For example, self-doubt, a fear of making mistakes, or worrying about how you’re being perceived by others could be stirred up when stepping into a senior role at work.
This life transition isn’t the source of these patterns. It’s a catalyst.
And this presents a choice:
Allow yourself to be pulled back into these old patterns.
Or see this life transition as an opportunity to make meaningful changes in your life.
Unconscious change is not about finding better ways to manage or cope with these old patterns.
It’s about shifting the patterns so they no longer need to keep coming up in the same way.
Sometimes life transitions bring these patterns back into your awareness—often in a way that can be hard to avoid.
Fortunately, unconscious change doesn’t have to take months or years on end.
By its very nature, unconscious change can happen quite quickly.
All that’s required is a willingness to explore and to turn your attention inwards.
Not analytically; experientially.
When these old patterns shift, you no longer have to respond to life transitions through the lens of unresolved patterns from the past.
You can respond to what’s actually happening here and now.
